Starving Artist?

I have to keep this thing called a day job just to pay bills

ten hour day followed by class

to get a degree

because soceity tells me to

while doing everything I can to make it

in the industry so many people dream of

but don't have the ambition.

does this smell dirty?

I can wear it one more day

clean clothes are too expensive to wash

11:00 and I'm home

to check messages, do homework

Oh yeah, there's this thing called food.

That's a Wrap!

Well, I've finally done it. I've completed shooting on the first movie I have produced. Last week was in short, one of the most amazing weeks of my life. The shoot was run so well, EVERYONE knew their job, every problem was solved on the spot.

I haven't had a week this good since I can remember.

My crew was PHENOMENAL. They worked so hard to get things done, and it seemed like I didn't do a single thing. It's said that you know you have a good producer when he doesn't know anything that's going on on set, because his crew handles everything. I agree and disagree with that statement. I wish I was more involved in the shoot, but being I am the business and paperwork guy, it was all good. Everyone treated me like a king, and I felt bad, being the youngest person on the set, but of course, I made sure everyone was happy.

A Producer's work is never done.

I feel like I'm living out my dream now. It's everything I thought it would be.

Face to face...

Tell me about it. I started at the second busiest Starbucks in the Midwest region on Monday, one of the top 20 in the Nation as an Asst. Manager Trainee. Talk about whipping my ass into shape. It's been a good time, the partners have been really communicative of their needs, and have really started to take to me. Thank God. It's about 5 times bigger, and 10 times busier than my last store. It's the "high volume experience".

What else..

Rohan leaves in 3 weeks for Spain for a year. Fuck. That sucks.

More later, I want to update, but there's someone standing next to me, and that's what I want to update about, so I won't go there.
